CWBT Expo offers access to the African market for manufacturers overseas and for Nigerian manufacturers to the rest of Africa.  Discover the latest innovations in wellness and beauty at the CWBTE 2023: A place where wellness meets beauty and ultimate expo for wellness and beauty enthusiasts. 

CWBTE is organized by Giraffeconnect Nigeria Ltd in collaboration with leading organizations in the wellbeing sector such as Society of Petroleum Engineers Nigeria Council Integrated Services and Consulting Ltd and the Mathematics For Life Foundation. The expo aims to provide a platform for wellbeing practitioners and stakeholders to address fundamental issues in wellbeing awareness, policies, measurement, and required interventions as it relates to having an effective workforce. It also serves as a marketplace that connects wellbeing and beauty products, services and technology providers from around the world, and within Nigeria to the rest of Africa. The 2023 CWBT Expo will feature plenary presentations, short courses, technology showcases, scientific papers presentations and an exhibition of wellbeing and healthTech products and services.

Call For Basic, and Applied Cosmetic Research Papers Submission

The Corporate Wellbeing and Beauty Technologies Expo (CWBTE 2023) invites researchers and practitioners to submit their original papers on cosmetic science and technology. The CWBTE 2023 is the premier event in Africa for showcasing the latest innovations, trends, and solutions in the field of cosmetic wellbeing and beauty. It offers a unique opportunity for participants to present their work to a diverse and influential audience, network with peers and industry leaders, and learn from the best practices and experiences of others. As part of this objective, the CWBTE 2023 will host research papers presentation contests in two categories, the Basic Cosmetic Research Papers Presentation Contest and the Applied Cosmetic Research Paper Presentation Contest. The event will recognize and reward the best papers in each of the two categories.

The Basic Cosmetic Research Papers Presentation Contest is open to authors with papers that report original and significant findings in any area of cosmetic science, such as formulation, analysis, testing, safety, efficacy, biotechnology, nanotechnology, etc.

The Applied Cosmetic Research Paper Presentation Contest is open to papers that demonstrate innovative and practical applications of cosmetic science and technology to address real-world problems or needs, such as product development, marketing, consumer behavior, sustainability, social responsibility, etc.

To participate in the Basic or Applied Cosmetic Research Paper Presentation Contest, applicants must submit their full manuscript text in English and indicate on their abstract submission form that they want to enter their work for the contest.

Papers must be original and must be received within the time scales for submission of manuscripts set by the scientific papers sub-committee to be eligible to participate in the competition.

The paper must be presented in person by one of the authors of the paper at the CWBTE 2023.

By submitting the Basic or Applied Cosmetic Research Paper Manuscript, the applicant agrees to submit their paper to both the CWBTE Publications and the scientific journal of collaborating associations for publication in the issue following the end of the Expo.

The submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by a panel of experts and evaluated based on their originality, significance, quality, clarity, and relevance. The winners of each category will be announced at the CWBTE Awards Ceremony and will receive a certificate and a cash prize.

Deadlines

1. The deadline for abstract submission is September 27, 2023.
2. Notification of acceptance of abstracts shall be within1 week from date of submission but not later than October 4, 2023
3. The deadline for full manuscript submission is October 31, 2023.
4. Notification of acceptance of full paper submission shall be within1 week from date of submission but not later than November 4, 2023
5. Submission of PowerPoint slides of accepted full manuscripts shall not be later than November 14, 2023.
